Well, we ended up skiing, not snowboarding!
And I didn't face-plant once. Of course, I
could barely walk down the stairs the next
day, but it was worth it. The kids were
amazing--it took just one run down the mountain
for them to figure it out. No poles, either.

Thanks to all who wrote to wish me luck.
I just had to share a great--and funny--email I
received last week from a customer. Let's call her
"Bunny". Bunny had just purchased, downloaded and
read her copy of "Real People Don't Diet".
"Husband doesn't know yet, but I started him this
morning as well. Looking forward to the results
and the ease of eating without deprivation and
I just had to chuckle out loud..."husband doesn't
know yet". Poor guy! He has no idea he's about
to lose that spare tire!
Bunny wrote me back a little later to let me know
how things were going:
"Weighed in this morning and already down 2 pounds,
I really believe I can do it this time...This
morning was a good sign."

other" will never know. At least not until they
start losing weight...
Guess what I gave up for Lent? Yep. Fritos.
It's been hard breaking the addition, but my
new snack of cheese and Triscuits is doing the
I don't like the MSG in Triscuits but the fiber
is always good. As soon as Easter's over, I'm
back on the Fritos train.
